You will have excellent commercial judgement and an ability to prioritise, influence and make value-creating decisions across the business lifecycle. You are a high performer with a relentless focus on excellence balanced with pragmatism borne from experience and the confidence to question and challenge with conviction and persistence. With an engaging, collaborative and consultative approach, you partner with your stakeholders to build the maturity of risk management practices. You thrive in a fast-paced challenging environment and combine your strong attention to detail with an ability to see the bigger picture.
About the role
Reporting to the General Counsel, you will build and sustain strong risk management practices with a balanced approach by working in consultation with all lines of defence. Applying a proactive, analytical and strategic lens to identify new and emerging risk, you will lead a Divisional risk programme and projects. Engaging directly with senior executives and key internal stakeholders and working collaboratively with global colleagues, you will drive internal analysis, develop risk review strategies and robust risk profiles. A visible operator in the business, you will be an influencer and drive a strong risk focus at all levels of the organisation, using your expertise to identify, assess, monitor, manage and report on key risks arising in the business. You will support the General Counsel and CEO to embed a strong risk culture across the Division by developing and facilitating risk management training programmes, as well as coaching leaders, conducting risk workshops and partnering with business unit and contract risk function owners to develop, complete and report on risk matters in line with Serco processes.
