Based in Geelong, Earth-Tech Civils specialises in earthworks, transport and plant hire. We cater to a broad range of projects across Victoria, ensuring our clients receive high quality and efficient outcomes, each and every time. Due to our continued growth and demand we have an immediate opportunity for a superstar operator to join our team!

About the role - Job tasks and responsibilities:

• Main duties will include carrying out earthworks on various sites throughout Greater Geelong & North Western region of Melbourne.
• HR or HC license advantageous however not essential 
• Pre-start checks, and general care of the trucks and machinery (Daily greasing, fueling and topping up of oils and liquids).
• Operating mobile equipment, such as Excavators, Bobcats - tipper trucks and Roller experience advantageous but not essential
• Applying trade skills where appropriate
• Some manual labouring may be required at times - shovelling, raking and sweeping, so a certain level of physical fitness is advantageous
• Site restoration.
• Leadership qualities and desires advantageous but not essential

 

Work Capabilities:

All forms of commercial, domestic and residential earthworks. The work includes bulk & detailed excavations, site cuts, site cleans and pool excavations for residential  & commercial clients, landscaping, trenching for power, sewer, drainage and everything in between.  

 

The following skills and/or experience are required:

• All aspects of excavations, including using attachments (augers, rock breakers and grabs)
• Ability to use a bobcat with smudge bar
• Tandem Tipper OR truck & trailer tipping experience is highly desirable
