The aspirational Managing Partner of this firm is determined to build a practice that is ethical and values driven whilst also being commercially successful. The firm does this by setting achievable budgets for their Solicitors allowing time for important pro-bono work. They have earned themselves an enviable reputation as the leaders within their specialty, with a team of excellent solicitors, and a very strong workflow.
Due to growth, they are currently looking for an experienced Family Law Legal Secretary to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This isn’t your standard Legal Secretary role. In this position, you will have the opportunity to be involved in practice management duties and play an integral part in the ongoing success of the firm, whilst also supporting the Managing Partner and a Family Law Solicitor in day to day secretarial duties. They outsource some repetitive administration aspects, so you will get to enjoy the more hands on aspects of secretarial work.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Family Law but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A pro-active attitude
- An ability to multi-task and enjoy working in a varied role
- Strong MS Office and accurate typing skills
- Previous experience running an office or practice management would be an advantage, but not essential
