Your role
MinterEllison is looking for a Registered Patent Attorney to join its unique patent practice. MinterEllison’s patent practice is the only practice that is truly integrated within a law firm in Australia. MinterEllison’s patent attorneys not only draft, prosecute and advise on patents for the firm’s clients, but also manage patent office oppositions and Federal Court patent litigation. This includes working intimately with technical experts and Australia’s leading patent counsel to draft evidence. This is an exceptional opportunity for a self-motivated attorney that is looking to grow within a privately owned law firm environment.
The ideal candidate will have around 2-4 years post registration experience within a high performing patent group. The technical capabilities of the candidate are more important than the degree. However, degrees in Chemical Engineering or similar, and Law, will be highly regarded. Industry experience will also be highly regarded.
